The Barcelona Boat Show 2026 and ANEN launch the new #SAILNOW initiative to bring the event closer to the next generation of boaters.
The Barcelona Boat Show 2026, together with ANEN, the Associació Catalana d’Escoles Nàutiques (ACEN) and CENÁUTICA, will offer free admission to everyone who has obtained a recreational boating licence or certificate during 2025 or 2026.
With this initiative, the show aims to welcome new boaters and support them as they take their first steps into the world of boating, inviting them to discover, in one place, the leading boats, brands, accessories, training centres, services and latest innovations in the marine industry.
The promotion is available to anyone who has obtained one of the following qualifications:
- Navigation Licence
- Basic Recreational Skipper Licence (PNB)
- Recreational Craft Skipper Licence (PER)
- Yacht Skipper Certificate
- Yacht Master Certificate
The perfect time to take the next step
Obtaining a boating qualification is only the beginning. The Barcelona Boat Show is the ideal place to continue discovering everything the boating lifestyle has to offer.
Over five days, newly qualified skippers will be able to explore the latest motorboats, sailing yachts, catamarans and RIBs, compare different models, discover marine equipment and electronics, learn about marinas, charter services, maintenance and insurance, and receive expert advice directly from the industry’s leading brands.
In addition, the show will feature activities, conferences and experiences designed both for newcomers to boating and for those looking to expand their knowledge and move up to larger yachts.
Encouraging the next generation of boaters
Through this agreement, Salón Náutico, ANEN, the Associació Catalana d’Escoles Nàutiques and CENÁUTICA reinforce their commitment to promoting recreational boating and helping newly qualified skippers connect with the marine industry from day one.
According to the show’s Director, Josep Antoni Llopart, “This initiative aims to keep the enthusiasm alive among those who have just earned their licence or certificate, while giving them the opportunity to discover the wide range of products and services available and receive first-hand advice from manufacturers, dealers, sailing schools and specialist companies.”
How can you get your free ticket?
Newly qualified boaters simply need to request their invitation through the Salón Náutico registration page and present their boating licence or an official document confirming it was issued during 2025 or 2026 at the event ticket office.
The promotion is available to everyone who has obtained one of the qualifications included in the campaign and grants free admission to the Barcelona Boat Show 2026, taking place from 14 to 18 October at Port Vell.
