The Barcelona International Boat Show expands its activities to reach all sea enthusiasts

The Barcelona International Boat Show will return to Port Vell in October with new content, activities and nautical leisure experiences aimed at attracting the entire boating community and enhancing the visitor experience. To achieve this, Spain’s leading boating event will add a new indoor pavilion and a dedicated area at Moll de la Fusta focused on promoting water sports.

For its 63rd edition, the show is placing the spotlight on activities linked to recreational and sporting boating under the SeaMotion banner. A covered marquee at Moll de la Fusta will host the Diving, Shopping & Water Sports area, where the return of scuba diving to the Barcelona International Boat Show will be among the highlights.

This feature will also bring together national and international scuba diving destinations, centres, training schools, manufacturers and equipment distributors, showcasing the latest innovations in gear and technology. Educational activities and introductory diving workshops will also be organised to welcome new audiences to the sport, while promoting safe and responsible diving practices.

In addition, the Boat Show’s indoor pavilion will feature a strong presence of marinas and port facilities showcasing their services within the Marinas & Harbour Facilities area.

    Nautical Experiences
This year’s experiential program will be improved by the new Experience Water area, also located at Moll de la Fusta. Visitors will be able to discover the latest nautical leisure activities, including a fully electric jet ski, product demonstrations by exhibitors, and dinghy sailing experiences organised in collaboration with the Catalan Sailing Federation.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Spanish National Marine Industry Association (ANEN), the Barcelona International Boat Show will once again bring together the industry’s leading innovations from 14 to 18 October, ranging from the latest sports boat models to an extensive display of motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans of all sizes, with more than 130 brands already confirmed.
