The show organized by Fira becomes a strategic partner of the new event
The Barcelona Boat Show joins the new Blaumarí Music Port Vell festival
The International Barcelona Boat Show joins Blaumarí Music as a strategic partner of the new festival, to be held from 10 to 28 June, and that aspires to become one of the most unique events in Barcelona’s musical calendar thanks to a stage located on the sea. To support the initiative, the Boat Show will provide its floating infrastructure in Port Vell, the event’s traditional venue, strengthening its commitment to positioning Barcelona internationally as a nautical and cultural capital.
Blaumarí Music will be the first music festival to be held on the Barcelona Port Vell pier, offering an unprecedented stage experience in the city. In this sense, the participation of the Boat Show as a strategic partner responds to the affinity of values between both projects, united by their link with the sea, the nautical experience, the city and the international projection of Barcelona.
One of the great differentiating elements of the festival will be its stage, built on the infrastructure of the Boat Show in the waters of Port Vell and with the city as a backdrop. This design reinforces the uniqueness of a proposal that will bring together top-level national and international artists such as UB40 feat. Ali Campbell, La Traviata, The Cardigans, Gipsy Kings (by André Reyes), Alan Parsons or Rufus Wainwright, among others.
According to the Director of the Barcelona Boat Show, Josep Antoni Llopart, “this collaboration naturally connects our event — a benchmark for the Spanish Boating industry — with a high-level cultural initiative in a setting that fully reflects Barcelona’s Mediterranean identity.” Llopart added that “both the Fira de Barcelona event and the festival encourage the city to look towards the sea and embrace it as a major stage for experiences, while further strengthening its status as an international capital of sailing and culture.”
The Barcelona Boat Show 2026
Organised by Fira de Barcelona with the collaboration of the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the International Barcelona Boat Show will once again bring together the nautical community from 14 to 18 October, showcasing a wide range of boats of all types of length, from medium and small boats to yachts of more than 20 metres in the sail, motor and catamaran segments.
In addition, the upcoming edition of the event will feature an exhibition and testing area on the water, as well as a new area dedicated to sectors linked to nautical leisure as a complement to its traditional offering in the recreational boat segment.
