We look forward to seeing you from 12 to 16 October!!

The annual Spanish recreational boating event, the Barcelona Boat Show, is finally here, celebrating its 60th anniversary from 12 to 16 October.

The Barcelona show, organised by Fira Barcelona in collaboration with the Asociación Nacional de Empresas Náuticas (ANEN), the Spanish association of marine industries, has been held since 1963 and will blow out 60 candles this year, as in 1988 two editions were held, the second in December to adapt to the new dates proposed by the Spanish marine industry.

The addition of Marina Port Vell, in addition to the usual Fusta and España moorings, will make this edition our largest fleet on display. The show will occupy a total of 21,000 square metres of exhibition space, where 221 exhibitors will display more than 700 boats, 182 of them on the water. Among them will be 28 catamarans and 14 of the candidates for the year’s best boat.

The Moll de la Fusta area will host the Innovation Dock, where fifteen start-ups will be showcasing their most ground-breaking concepts in the field of digitalisation and environmentally friendly boating technology, and various electric, hybrid and hydrogen-fuelled boats will be on display.

The so-called Sea Boulevard, the dry-dock area of Moll de la Fusta, will host its usual range of nautical equipment, accessories and services, while most of the sailing boats will be docked at its moorings.

In Marina Port Vell, a space occupied by the Barcelona Boat Show for the first time, and the Muelle de España, there will be a large exhibition afloat with the best selection of motor yachts and catamarans.

There will be various activities for visitors, with different options for heading out to sea thanks to the initiatives of the FNOB with its IMOCA 60, on the Santa Eulalia sailboat moored in the Marina Tradicional area, where it will also be possible to embark on traditional sailing boats. In the Fun Beach area, it will be possible to test out sports equipment.

The more recreational side will feature the new gastronomic space Vermut&Soul, with live music and food trucks. As usual, Nautical Night will be held on Friday, 14 October, with music performances and food tastings.
